We Are With You is a charity commissioned to deliver NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) in Surrey. The service is available free of any charge to anyone aged 17 years or over and registered with a GP in Surrey. They offer evidence based Talking Therapies to people struggling with poor mental health including (but not limited to) Depression, Anxiety, Panic, OCD, Stress. Symptoms may be low, moderate or severe intensity and following an Assessment clients would be offered the most suitable therapy for them. Clients do not need a GP referral and can refer themselves either by calling us or visiting the Website link The service has no waiting list! and has the capacity to process referrals promptly.

Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programmes from SilverCloud are an effective, evidence-based treatment for low mood, anxiety, stress and sleep and ideal if you prefer the convenience of working through a programme at your own pace.
SilverCloud is accessed online through a smartphone app, tablet or laptop. After signing up, Mind Matters will provide online fortnightly reviews with one of our Psychological Well-being Practitioners to guide you through each module.

Community Connections/Catalyst Support

Catalyst Support works to promote the mental health and wellbeing of people in Surrey, improving lives in terms of stability and wellbeing, with the aim of reducing harm to themselves, their families and the community. They run wellbeing groups which develop coping skills, manage your mental health and improve wellbeing while having fun at the same time. Access to education, support groups and activities with advice and further support.

Service User Network
SUN (Service User Network) is an easy to access community-based service for adults experiencing difficulties with complex emotions often associated with personality disorder. These emotions can affect how a person feels, copes with life and manages relationships.
SUN offers peer support groups for adults to share experiences and provide one another with help and advice. A person does not need a diagnosis to attend. Groups are facilitated by a clinician and a peer support worker with lived experience of mental health issues.

Richmond Fellowship

Richmond Fellowship is a national mental health charity that works with individuals, communities, and families to overcome mental ill health and support people on their recovery journeys.

Men’s Services
Andy’s Man Club
ANDYSMANCLUB are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.
They run support groups every Monday from 7PM except bank holidays. In these groups, men can open up about the storms affecting their lives in a safe, judgement-free and non-clinical environment. Our clubs are designed to be free of pressure, there is no obligation for men to speak, they can simply listen if they wish.

Men’s Shed Associations
Men’s Sheds are kitted out community spaces where men can enjoy practical hobbies. Men’s Sheds encourage people to come together to make, repair and repurpose, supporting projects in their local communities. Improving wellbeing, reducing loneliness and combatting social isolation.

Sexual Abuse
RASASC – Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre

RASASC is a registered charity, established in 1992, and based in Guildford. They work with anyone in Surrey whose life has been affected by rape or sexual abuse, whether recently or in the past.
Referral: GP or self referral. Currently due to demand, they are limited to being able to accept 15 new adult counselling referrals each month. Once they have reached this limit, they will close to new referrals until the first working day of the following month at 10am.

3 Counties Money Advice is a group of business professionals and fully trained advisers from local churches. Irrespective of our different denominations, we all work together to give impartial advice and assistance on a variety of money related issues. We operate in partnership with Frontline Debt Advice (UK), a charity that has offices across the South of England. We provide free and confidential debt and benefit advice to anyone, irrespective of race, religion, age, gender or disability, who is in financial distress.

Kooth
Kooth is a transformational digital mental health platform that launched in 2004. It gives children and young people (aged 11-25) immediate access to an online community of peers and a team of experienced, accredited counsellors covering topics such as anxiety, self harm and suicidal thoughts, relationship issues etc. Access is free of the typical barriers to support - no waiting times, no referrals, no thresholds to meet and complete anonymity. The service is open for support 365 days per year, between 12pm-10pm on weekdays, and 6pm-10pm on weekends and holidays.
