HOW TO MAKE AND CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT
Routine appointments booked at 10 minutes intervals so there will usually only be time to discuss one issue. If you feel you may need more time or you wish to discuss more than one problem, please let us know when booking your appointment so we can accommodate this.
If an urgent appointment is needed please try to call as early in the day as possible. Usually the triage nurse or a GP will call back to discuss the problem and offer an appointment with the most appropriate person at the most appropriate time. This may be across any of our four sites.
We also offer pre-bookable telephone appointments with a GP. These appointments will be 5 minutes long and are ideal for advice or routine follow ups.
Routine face to face appointments with a GP and appointments for blood tests will continue to be bookable in the same way:
- Over the web (register at the surgery or pre-register online) Patient Access website
- Using our automated telephone appointment system
- By speaking to a receptionist
All appointments need to be booked through a receptionist, during normal opening hours 8.00am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please call our surgery on 01483 409309
